WHAT WE SEE

WHAT WE SEE - There can be a big difference between what we look at and what we actually see.  Take, for instance, the American Redstart I was fortunate to photograph a few weeks ago.  I knew that I was looking at a bird, one of the more common birds that frequent our woods most likely.  But only when I had a chance to view up close the image of what I had been looking at did I realize I had captured a rarer American Redstart!  What a chance blessing, I decided.  But could it be that often a divine gift or blessing is right before our eyes but we don't really see it?
