ON THE BEST REMEDY
ON THE BEST REMEDY - If anyone had reason to be afraid, lonely, or
unhappy, it was Anne Frank and her family who for some 24 months desperately
tried to hide themselves from the Nazis before they were eventually discovered
and taken to concentration camps where they died. Although she was only 13
years old when she began writing, Anne was wise beyond her years, as her diary,
which was later discovered, revealed. Anne
realized that going outside to be with the heavens, nature, and God was “the
best remedy,” good for the troubled soul.
Have we also not found it to be so during the troubling times in which
we are now living?
