OFFERING A LITTLE HELP - The Emily Dickinson quotation about stopping one heart from breaking is one of my favorites, and it could easily strike a chord these days.  There are hurting hearts all around us with all that is going on in the world.  The curious thing about helping others-or even in helping a fallen Robin into its nest again-is that in the process we also help ourselves.  I have learned that when I am feeling down, nothing lifts my spirits like doing something to help or bring comfort or joy to another who may be more down than I am.
