BUILDING CHARACTER - As we watch the world news and hear of all that is going on in the world, it may cause us to ask, "What ever happened to character, specifically having to do with morals and personal integrity?"  Too often, it seems, high moral character is sacrificed for popularity; or for what may appear to be more finacially lucrative.  Phillips Brooks, a well-respected preacher of a former era, reminds us not only of the importance of exhibiting character in great public moments, but developing personal character daily through small acts.
