OFTEN OVERLOOKED

OFTEN OVERLOOKED - Often overlooked are the family of Skipper butterflies because they are not as large and vibrant as some of the more favored ones such as the Monarch and Eastern Tiger Swallowtail.  But there are more than 3,000 kinds of Skippers in the world, a fact that sometimes makes them difficult to precisely identify.  Because of their smaller size, speed, and less-than-vibrant colors, they often are overlooked - just like the many small deeds that are performed every day but alter our world for the better nonetheless.
